Robin is passionate about music education. He has taught woodwinds, music theory, composition and musicianship for over 15 years at numerous schools, and continues to do so privately.

Robin is also an experienced workshop leader and has led group sessions in jazz and improvisation. He is an ensemble tutor for the National Youth Jazz Collective (NYJC) and has led workshops on behalf of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO). He has completed mentorship programmes with both organisations, which involved developing skills in directing small and large ensembles.

Robin has had further training and experience teaching groups, conducting and arranging through the Ethno traditional folk music programs. The international music camps involved ten days of peer-to-peer aural learning, workshops and sharing of culture, which culminated in numerous concerts and workshops for local communities. His participation to Ethnofonik was supported by the Help Musicians UK Transmission Fund.

Robin is available for lessons in-person and online. Please get in touch via the contact page for more details.
